I am a political scientist working at the intersection of Comparative and International Political Economy.
Since 2019, I hold a professorship in International Political Economy at the Institute of Social Sciences at Osnabrück University. Previously, I was a senior researcher at Goethe University Frankfurt and a doctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne.
In my current research I explore the politics of ‘sustainable’ investment, the evolution of growth regimes in a changing world economy, and the political economy of decarbonization. My work has appeared in outlets such as the Journal of European Public Policy, New Political Economy, and Socio-Economic Review. You can find a full list of publications here.
I am currently managing director of the Institute of Social Sciences at Osnabrück University and co-convenor of the German Political Science Association’s IPE Working Group.
